Where to find drapes/curtains with drapery hooks or pins?

Hey this is a continuation, aliceK you said:

"You need drapes and drapery hooks or pins for this type of track. You can find them just about anywhere, including Goodwill and a lot of Dollar Stores. But if you want something to block the heat, I'd suggest you look for heavy foam-backed drapes. You might get lucky and find some nice ones at Goodwill, but you'll probably have to go to someplace like Target, Penney's, Bed Bath and Beyond, etc.."

JCPenney is having a GREAT sale online for drapes/curtains but they all seem to be rod curtains, none of the drapes say that they are for/can be used with hooks?

Am i blind or are there none?

here's a link to the thermals:

Bed Bath and Beyond

-they have a good selection

-pretty cheap
Reply:Ikea. That's the best and least expensive with the same high quality, just a little more foreign with the providers and more assembly required. :) To bad I don't work there, I could get employee discounts (I hope lol)
Reply:Go to a local curtain shop and get them custom made. At least you'll have curtains that fit your measurements, and you'll have the "heading" that you want, instead of cheap readymades that look it.
Reply:Draperies that use pins or hooks are called pleated draperies. All you have to do is ask for pleateds or look for pleateds. They aren't as popular these days so they may not be as easy to find but they are out there or you can have them made. Rods are very popular or tied because they move so nicely. I had pleateds made for my breakfast room and they are beautiful but I have had the looped for rods and tied drapes as well and actually prefer them. The pleateds worked better for what I wanted in my breakfast room. But again I had them custom made. You will probably have to do the same if you really must have them or they work better for your space, but don't get strapped into thinking that is the only drape you can use.
