Best bag for general jabs/hooks/upper cuts?

I'm hopeless with my legs so I want to focus on my punches.

What is the best type of punching bag for jabs/hooks/upper cuts? I was thinking about the tear drop punching bag.

Also, do I need to buy gloves for training? If so, what kind?

Thanks so much. Note that I'm not under any professional training or anything. :)

A wall bag, that's fixed to wall and you don't need to much leg movement, but you got to practice your footwork..no use having great punches if you cant move
Reply:if you want to work on ur jabs try to go to a local gym and use the bigger bags that swing back and forth (tape a c on the bag to laocate the areas you wnat to use
Reply:if i were you i would invest in a heavybag depending on how big you are i would look at diff weights and choose the heavybag that fits you best it will help with your power for sure.
