Dose anyone have some tips on writing hooks?

I'm preatty good on verses, but I can never think of good hooks. What are some tips to write some good ones.

Dose anyone have some tips on writing hooks?
Make sure it's something that meshes well rhythmically to the beat. Something that someone might want to sing along to.

I would just loop the chorus and keep listening to it and try to figure out your pattern and then fill in words as you go.
Reply:not every song has to have a hook

sometimes the song just sounds better with one

but its not always necessary
Reply:most song's hook actually has the title of the song within it, esp. if it is a rap song. for example: Dreamin' by young Jeezy, his hook was Dreamin(wit some other words). just use the title of your song, and twist it up some. did that help a bit?
Reply:well...they can have a simple rhyme scheme, just make them short, simple, and memorable...
Reply:Best tip = don't do it, get a sample, it'll sound better.

But if you have to then I guess include the title of the song (maybe), and keep it short and simple, and catchy.
