Where can I buy very small (size 32 possibly)fishing hooks to catch minnows?

when I was a kid I could buy a tin of assorted fishing hooks for a couple of bucks. These tins normally had some super small hooks that you could catch minnows with. Now days everything has gotten bigger and I can't seem to find these hooks anywhere!!!!!!!!!

Where can I buy very small (size 32 possibly)fishing hooks to catch minnows?
Size 32, these days are most commonly used for fly fishing... so try a tackle shop (most likely online) that specialises in fly fishing gear.

Also try a UK online tackle shop that sells coarse match fishing gear, such as http://www.mullarkeys.co.uk and look at sizes 18 - 26 such as these ones:

Reply:the poor minnows would not be much good as bait after being handled to remove the hook. My guess is a small mesh net with a long handle. The long handle is so they cannot see your shadow as you scoop the net.

Don't forget to put water in the minnow bucket BEFORE you catch any. You might even accidently get some minnows in your minnow bucket just scooping the water.

Have you tried the fishing department at Walmart?
Reply:you would want to go to a fly tying shop and look at the dry fly hooks, you probably would look at something like a size 18, maybe a size 22...... I started to use 3mm/4mm cloth pompoms(from the craft store) soaked/rubbed in power-bait. another thing that works for me is a small can of the green giant niblets corn(it has a smaller kernel) ........
Reply:it would be easier to just minnows or a trap at a baitshop.
Reply:Perhaps you might try using a ....net.
Reply:You could try a bait rig they use in the ocean I think it's called a sabiki rig (?) I'm not positive thats wha tit is. It has small hooks and it's used to catch bait.
