This is the type that has a hose that hooks to the kitchen sinks water spout. It has a canister to hold the dirty water. I have many rugs and the uprights just don't work for me.
I am looking for an old fashioned canister carpet shampooer, hose hooks to the sink. Do they still exist.?
I know what you are talking about, my sister use to have one like that, she ordered hers from fingerhut, I don't think they exist anymore. They have all gone to the upright ones. They did clean really good, only problem I have had with them was the hoses leaking.
