Bell Hooks' views on types of feminism?

In Bell Hooks book %26quot;Feminism is for Everybody%26quot; she describes three types of feminists:

- Revoluntionary

- Reformist

- Lifestyle

I am having a VERY hard time understanding her explination of each - I%26#039;m not seeing clear differences, or even definitions at all. Has anyone read this book or does anyone know these classifications as defined in this book?

Thanks.

Bell Hooks%26#039; views on types of feminism?
It%26#039;s a long time since I read this one, but a refresh by reading some of hooks%26#039; wonderful (and very easy to read) shorter articles should give a clue.

I%26#039;ve put a link below and recommend especially the article %26quot;Sisters of the Yam: Feminist Opportunism or Commitment to Struggle?%26quot;

I%26#039;ve also included an interesting critical essay of the book which presents some argument relartive to the definitions hooks provides. It%26#039;s an interesting read on several levels.

It expresses some of hooks views in an easy to understand and interesting to read shorter form, and should help inform the longer text.

Good luck and best wishes :-)
